Full Head Foil Highlighting
Foil Highlighting is the process of taking precisely woven sections of hair, applying the lightening product and placing into foil to develop to the required shade.
As a L’Oreal Colour Specialist salon we only use the very best L’Oreal lightening products. The Platinium range we use in our foil highlights. Platinium Ammonia Free and Platinium Plus are L’Oreal’s most luxurious lightening pastes. Platinium Ammonia Free is perfectly suited for fine hair; while Platinium Plus is more suited to thick hair, in particular darker or difficult to lighten hair. The lightening paste is enriched with Nutricerides and White Beeswax and provides a softening effect with up to 7 levels of lift without the use of ammonia. The enriched lightening paste helps to smooth and soften the hair fibre for beautiful condition. So if you are looking for classic highlights or lowlights – whichever you choose, you’ll get nothing but our best from our professional in-salon highlighting systems. Whether it is a touch of sun- kissed hair effect or a bolder blonde bombshell, discover your perfect highlighted hair shade today with the help of your colourist.
Full Head Highlights involve highlighting hair in every section of your head. This could be slightly lightening all of your hair or for something more dramatic, such as going from brunette to blonde. They offer a more dramatic look, as they wrap all around the head.

Half Head Foil Highlighting
Half head highlights involve lightening the top layers of hair from root to tip. These sections are typically through the crown and the sides of the head.
The lower layers remain darker, creating depth and dimension.
The goal is to mimic the natural effect of the sun lifting certain strands, resulting in a subtle, sun-kissed glow1.

T Section
T-section highlights are ideal if you want to add dimension without having your entire head processed. They’re perfect for touch-ups on already highlighted hair or for blending darker roots with existing highlights.
The lightened pieces are concentrated specifically at the top and frontal region of the head, forming a “T” shape. Just like the letter “T,” these highlights illuminate from the crown down to your forehead and hairline, framing your face.

Full Head Foilyage
Foilyage is a popular hair coloring technique that combines the best of both worlds:
Balayage involves hand-painting highlights onto specific strands of hair. It’s known for its softer, blended look, appearing mainly on the mid-lengths and ends creating a natural, sun-kissed effect.
Foil highlights are different from balayage, giving a more delicately woven brightness, covering strands from roots to ends.
Foilyage combines these two methods. By teasing the hair before applying bleach and wrapping the lightened strands in foil, it intensifies and accelerates the colour processing. This means your hair is lighter and brighter than balayage with more colour lift.

The is an ideal option for those who want to add subtle definition to their strands

Toner
A hair toner helps your colourist to personalise your colour. It is used to add natural or more visible tones after a professional colour treatment. As a result, it enhances the tonality of your hair by creating a professional finished look. Mostly used for shades of blonde hair, it can be beneficial for brunettes and redheads too. In order for toner to work, hair has to be bleached or dyed first. The process can be complex. So if done incorrectly, it can lead to undesirable results. But rest assured, at Law Salons our Certified Colourists and Colour Specialists will ensure the very best result.

Pre Lightener - Global
Pre Lightening is the process of removing natural hair colour in order to lighten the colour all over. The process removes the darker pigments, which can result in brassiness or an uneven tone.
After Pre Lightening your colourist can progress to the next stage of colour, whether that’s a toner for blonde hair or a complete colour change.
However if your hair is darker than mid-brown and you want to go significantly lighter, you may need more than one pre-lightener treatment.
Our L’Oreal product contain BONDER INSIDE technology with a concentration of Citric Acid and Glycine bonding complex to protect bonds and keep the hair strong while lightening.

Colour Change / Colour Correction
Colour correction refers to a set of techniques that uses the basis of colour theory to ‘correct’ unwanted colours or enhance original colours. It’s no longer simply about fixing a colour that has gone wrong, it’s also about reviving hair that’s dull and uniform, and giving it a new radiance with touches of shine and light; the same way a make-up artist can make a woman’s skin tone appear more beautiful.
However it’s not uncommon for clients to come to us after a “colour disaster” either at home or at another salon. But don’t despair – our Colour Specialists have the skills and experience to help. If you have had a colour disaster make an appointment for a free Colour Consultation and we will be able to put together a plan on how to put things right.
Colour Change: Changing your overall hair colour tone can be a difficult decision, whether to go a warm brunette colour or a copper red, we can advise you on a hair colour that will suit your daily life. Choose from a wide range of hair shades and tone. At Law salons our Colour Specialists and Certified Colourists will give you honest professional advice. So If you want a small colour update or a totally refreshed look, our team can talk you through the colour change steps and maintenance you need to undertake in order to achieve a style and hair colour that’s rights for you.
